Commercial Pesticide Applicator Recertification

Commercial Pesticide Applicators will have the opportunity to recertify during the Agribusiness Showcase & Conference.  A $35 recertification fee is required in order to attend this workshop.

Starting at 9:00 AM, certified commercial pesticide applicators may meet their yearly certification credits in the flowing categories:

• 1A Weed Control
• 1B Insect Control
• 1C Disease Control
• 10 Demonstration and Research

The training lasts for 2.5 hours. Iowa State University Extension will be proctoring the training at the Showcase. Extension staff require that all participants seeking recertification be in the room by 9:00 a.m.  The program will include:

• Equipment Calibration, Safe Application Techniques & Drift
• Pesticide Labels
• Pesticide Stewardship
• Pests, Pest Management & Pesticides

This program is offered by Iowa State University Extension Pest Management and the Environment Program (PME).
